On Thursday October the 13th, the ACCEPT project will hold its first Digital Construction Workshop event: Construction 4.0 New Digital Sector, taking place within Spain’s start-up and innovation centre, in the nicknamed ‘Malaga Valley’ at the university of Malaga.
The aim of this event is to bring together actors from the construction, ICT, research, and student communities, as well as other interested bodies, in order to discuss various aspects of Digital Construction and the Energy Performance Gap, and to share and disseminate the most up to date findings from ACCEPT.
The workshop will offer an inimitable opportunity to access and debate the most relevant and cutting edge material on new and disruptive ways to boost the use of Smart glasses in construction, how to improve the AR experience, and how to generate disruptive market possibilities. It is hoped that the event will provide the perfect environment to generate innovative solutions to the issues faced by the sustainable construction industry, and to provide commercial opportunities and guidance. Additionally, the event will offer a valuable opportunity to create links with like minded initiatives and individuals.
Over the two-day workshop duration project representatives will share general information on the ACCEPT project, and will disseminate key findings and results from project activity to date through a series of presentations, debates, and creativity sessions. Guest speakers will be a key component of the event, with representatives from other European initiatives providing presentations of their own.
